ANNUAL NHSA DEDICATED STATUS REPORTING SPLIT INTO TWO
Dear Member,
As from 1 December 2019 the annual reporting system to maintain dedicated hunter and dedicated sport-person status with NHSA, has been “split in two” as per request from SAPS.
As you are aware, our reporting year runs from 1 December of the year preceding the reporting year, to 30 November of the reporting year (i.e. from 1 December 2019 to 30 November 2020).
The required minimum annual activities to report to retain your dedicated hunter status with NHSA from 1 December 2019, is TWO. Enter under Hunting Related Activity.
The required minimum annual activities to report to retain your dedicated sport-person status with NHSA from 1 December 2019, is TWO. Enter under Sport Shooting Related Activities or under Scores (Postal Shooting).
The Activities page on your Natshoot Member page will thus, from 1 December 2019, reflect a specific line indicating your annual compliancy to retain Dedicated Hunter Status and a specific line indicating your annual compliancy to retain Dedicated Sports-person Status depending on which status you hold with us (Hunter and/or Sports-person).
You must still please ascertain that your membership is paid-up to at least, or past, 30 November of the reporting year.
Irrespective of you holding dedicated hunter status or dedicated sports-person status or both, your membership fee remains the normal single annual fee for the age group you fall under (paid once per annum) - one annual payment of R210 for Junior members, R380 for Regular members, and R280 for Senior members
Despite us asking many times in the past, some members still have not read the web page on How To retain dedicated status with NHSA. Especially the members who wait until #99,9 to report their annual activities.
