Cape Town, 26 March 2022, 16:00: In what can only be described as a shock decision, the Western Cape High Court granted an urgent relief to the Humane Society International – Africa against the Minister and the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE), suspending the announcement of the 2022 hunting quotas of protected species.
