NatComp Small-Bore Centre-Fire Rifles

100m, SMALL-BORE CENTRE-FIRE RIFLES - PRECISION RIFLE SHOOTING

Competitors may enter TWO different calibres of centre-fire rifles relevant to the exercise for this competition category – Target(s) printed on an A4 page.

FIREARMS PERMITTED:  All Centre-Fire Rifles chambered for a bullet diameter of less than 7mm, i.e. .204 Ruger, .222Rem, .22 Hornet, .223/5,56, 243, 6mm, .243Win, .25-06, 6.5x55, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x55 - Any type of sight

SHOOTING DISTANCE:  The shooting distance measured from the target to the front edge of the Shooter's firing line is 100 metres.

COURSES OF FIRE:  5 shots at 100m – shot on one A4 page in your own time scored out of 50 points.

FIRING POSITION:  Any shooting position is valid, rifles may be rested on a bench with the front rested on a bi-pod or similar device with rifle stock resting on sand bag or similar device (BUT - rifle rests of which the front and the back are connected by a centre piece, may not be used).
