100m, MEDIUM-BORE CENTRE-FIRE RIFLES - PRECISION RIFLE SHOOTING

Competitors may enter TWO different calibres of centre-fire rifles relevant to the exercise for this competition category – Target(s) printed on an A4 page.
FIREARMS PERMITTED: All Centre-Fire Rifles chambered for a bullet diameter from 7mm to less than 8mm, i.e. .270 Win, 7mm Rem Mag, .308Win, 30-06Spr, .300 Win Mag. .300 H&H, .303 Br – Any type of sight.
SHOOTING DISTANCE: The shooting distance measured from the target to the front edge of the Shooter's firing line is 100 metres.
COURSES OF FIRE: 5 shots at 100m – shot on one A4 page in your own time scored out of 50 points.
FIRING POSITION: Any shooting position is valid, rifles may be rested on a bench with the front rested on a bi-pod or similar device with rifle stock resting on sand bag or similar device (BUT - rifle rests of which the front and the back are connected by a centre piece, may not be used).
