HUNTEX AND SELF DEFENCE FIREARMS

A number of our members asked what they must do if they need to take their self defence firearms with when visiting HUNTEX.

Mr Adriaan Woudstra, Organiser of HUNTEX, answered as follows:

HuntEx is primarily a firearm expo for hunters and sport shooters. Legal owners of firearms have been declared competent to own and use their firearms by the state. 

Persons who want to visit HuntEx2016 with their legally owned firearms are therefore welcome to do so. 

However if a visitor wishes to unholster his/her firearm to discuss any matter relating to that firearm with a dealer who is exhibiting, the visitor must make that firearm safe in the dedicated Firearm Safety Zone. The dealer will assist.
