HUNTEX SHOW VENUES 2016

The following are all the Huntex Shows at different venues and the dates. 

Also please see that NHSA members have preference in entry fees as we are an accredited Hunting Association.  Take e a copy of your NHSA membership card for entry purposes.  You can obviously show your electronic membership card on your smart phone at the diferent entry gates too.

We support the Huntex initiative and urge you to attend any of the mentioned shows.  It is always worth the time and effort.

HUNTEX (GAUTENG) - Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand

HuntEx will make its sixth annual appearance as an international consumer show at the Gallagher Convention Centre, in Midrand, Gauteng from 15 to 17 April 2016.

It is the largest small calibre firearm show on the African continent and attracts visitors from all over South Africa and neighbouring countries. HuntEx is one of the most popular and successful annual expos and drew 45521 visitors at the 2015 event.

HuntEx is a shoppers` paradise for anyone that is interested in firearms, sportshooting, hunting, and outdoor activities. On show will be the latest in hunting, sports, tactical and defensive firearms, ammunition, gear, accessories, shooting and reloading equipment, optics, hunting, outdoor and tactical garments, footwear, knives, archery, taxidermy, hunting and fishing destinations, vehicles, camping, outdoor equipment, wildlife art, and much more.

The bulk of exhibitors are South African traders and service providers. The show also offers a variety of educational demonstrations and informative talks by experts. Foreign exhibitors hailing from nine countries including USA, Germany, Italy, Austria, Great Britain, Pakistan, Lebanon, Namibia and Tanzania will also exhibit at HuntEx2016.

These exhibits include predominantly firearm and shooting related products while exhibitors from Namibia and Tanzania will promote hunting and tourism destinations in Africa.

The show will also be open on Thursday 14 April for invited guests only.

Entrance Fees

Adults: R120.00

Members of accredited hunting associations such as the National Hunting & Shooting Association (NHSA), pensioners, students and under 21: R60.00

Kids under 10: free

Address & Parking

Gallagher Convention Centre is at 19 Richards Drive, Midrand, Gauteng. Parking is available at Gallagher and costs R20 per vehicle. Visitors can also use the Gautrain to Midrand.

The HuntEx shuttle services will transport visitors between the station and n Gallagher Convention Centre.

HUNTEX CAPE GAME FAIR

HuntEx Cape Game Fair will be held from 26 - 28 February 2016 at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, Agter Paarl, Western Cape. It is much more than the normal gun show but rather a hunting and shooting expo in the great outdoors with activities and demonstrations taking place against the spectacular backdrop of mountains, trees and vineyards on a wine estate.

Visitors can look forward to view guns, optics, knives, bows, ammunition, clothing, vehicles, camping and shooting equipment, gear and accessories. Owners of hunting destinations and other weekend and holiday accommodation will help visitors plan their next hunting trip or family getaway.

Demonstrations include black powder shooting, archery and falconry. Visitors can participate in clay pigeon shooting and various other target shooting competitions with big prizes up for grabs. A visit to the HuntEx Cape Game Fair promises to be great fun out for the whole family.

HUNTEX EASTERN CAPE HUNTER`S FAIR

The second annual HuntEx Eastern Cape Hunter`s Fair will be held at Mentors Country Estate, Jeffreys Bay from 27 - 29 May 2016. This Fair took the Eastern Cape hunting community by storm when it was introduced in 2015. Eastern Cape residents and visitors to the region can browse and buy rifles and handguns, pick luxury travel items, and explore new hunting and holiday destinations.
